HORACE WORMELY
Born and raised in Pasadena, California, Horace Wormely fell in love with basketball at the age of 10, when he was introduced to the impact it could have on his family, community, and society, at-large. After finishing at Vanguard University in 2006, Horace would embark upon a 12-year professional basketball journey, spanning across 6 continents. During the second year of his career, Horace would begin to represent himself, negotiating his own player contracts. He, and his partner Frank Robinson, then formed the consulting firm, Layercake Group and the DSTRKT Foundation, a non-profit, to aid in the advancement of many of his peers’ personal brands and professional careers, as well as, various sports brands and basketball organizations. Horace was able to develop a unique set of skills, relationships, and knowledge about the industry that ignites and informs his desires, as a catalyst, to disrupt the traditional way players—of all ages and experience—navigate the world of basketball.
FRANK ROBINSON
With over ten years in buisness development Frank is tasked with developing the most viable route to success for the DSTRKT Foudation. He has gained a wealth of knowledge, experience and relationships within multiple industries- gained over a decorated 10 year professional basketball career, where he had the opportunity to visit over 75 countries. He was able to sharpen his business acumen while he negotiated his own contracts, the business affairs of peers and aided the growth of companies across the world. Fortunately, Frank has been able to identify opportunities, strategic partnerships and has developed an innate ability to strengthen established relationships with the goal of benefiting the interest of all parties involved, giving everyone the best chance to succeed.

SHEA DAWSON
Shea Dawson may be seen on the sidelines of any court near you, but she’s not your average basketball spectator. Today, Dawson is the Head of Athlete Relations at Overtime. In Dawson’s role, she leverages her wealth of knowledge and experiences across every level of basketball to help athletes and families navigate their journeys too and within the NBA. Dawson educates these athletes and families about the business of sports, giving them deep insights into pro-path education from her intimate relationship with the game from grassroots circuit camps to the NBA.

With nearly a decade of experience in technology, marketing, and business development, Lisa helps organizations merge their business and brand vision with the latest in emerging technology - driving partnerships that accelerate growth and creating experiential campaigns that have reached millions around the world. Since earning her BA from the University of California, Berkeley, she has worked with major organizations including the American Heart Association, CCTV, iQiyi, Vice Media, and Yoshimoto Kogyo and is currently the Director of Marketing and Business Development at ObEN, a technology company using AI to drive a new generation of virtual creators and influencers.
CHRISTINE ESCOTO
Christine is currently an Associate at Weintraub Tobin where she is a Transactional entertainment attorney specializing in talent representation in digital media; influencer marketing, and services; e-sports; streaming; endorsement; product licensing and merchandising, content licensing; shopping agreements and non-disclosure agreements. With a B.A., Sociology/Art from Azusa Pacific University and J.D. from CUNY School of Law Christine not only brings an incredible skill set but also a great deal of knowledge to the board.
TODD BOCKARIE
Founder of Elite Mental Wellness, Todd Bockarie is currently a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in the state of New Jersey. He’s been working in the Mental Health field since 2013 and now currently specializing in working with adolescents (Athletes) that live with Depression, Anxiety, Behavioral Disorders and other common Mental Health Disorders.
